If you have been Vaping for a while you probably are going to switch to a Mod. 

They are more durable and you get a stronger dose of nicotine.

An example of a Mod is clearly shown below. 

The difference between a Vape Pen like I have mentioned before and a Mod is that the Mod is not electronic at all. A Mod is basically an outer shell that holds a battery. When you press the button on the Mod to take a hit you complete a circuit that delivers unregulated current to the atomizer.  

These are more dangerous and complicated than Vape Pens.
